Ingredients
- 1 package of dumpling wrappers
- 1 pound of ground meat (chicken, pork, beef, or vegetarian)
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon of fresh ginger, minced
- 1/2 cup of fresh vegetables, diced (such as carrots, celery, and/or bell peppers)
- 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons of sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon of chili sauce
- 1/4 cup of water
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
1. Put the dumpling wrappers on a plate and set aside. In a large bowl, combine the ground meat, onion, garlic, ginger, vegetables, soy sauce, sesame oil, chili sauce, and salt and pepper. Stir to combine.
2. Add 1/4 cup of water to the mixture and mix until a paste forms. Take a spoonful of the mixture and place it in the center of one of the dumpling wrappers. Fold the wrapper over the mixture and pinch the edges to seal. Repeat with the remaining wrappers and mixture.
3. Place the filled dumplings in the inner pot of the Instant Pot. Pour 1 cup of water into the pot and place the lid on the pot. Make sure the vent is closed and set the pot to manual high pressure for 10 minutes.
4. When the cooking is complete, quick release the pressure and carefully remove the lid. Transfer the dumplings to a serving dish and garnish with green onions, sesame seeds, or other desired toppings. Serve warm.
