Cook Time

This BBQ sauce cooks in just 5 minutes in the Instant Pot! Once the ingredients have been combined and the pot is set to “Manual” mode, the timer will count down to zero and the sauce will be done. It's that easy!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups ketchup
  • 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Add the ketchup, apple cider vinegar, honey, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, smoked paprika, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper to the Instant Pot.

2. Secure the lid and set the valve to sealing. Select the "Manual" setting and cook at high pressure for 5 minutes.

3. Once the cooking time is complete, allow the pressure to release naturally for 10 minutes, then quick release the remaining pressure.

4. Open the lid and stir the sauce. If it's too thick, add a bit of water to thin it out.

5. Allow the sauce to cool before transferring it to a jar or airtight container. Store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
