Ingredients

Instructions

1. Set the Instant Pot to the sauté setting. Add the ground deer meat to the pot and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Use a wooden spoon to break up the meat as it cooks. Once the meat is browned, remove it from the pot and set aside.

2. Add the diced onion and garlic to the pot and cook until softened, about 3 minutes. Add the chili powder, cumin, smoked paprika, oregano, and black pepper and cook for 1 minute, stirring frequently.

3. Add the diced tomatoes with juices, black beans, pinto beans, green chilies, and beef broth to the pot and stir to combine. Place the lid on the Instant Pot and set the valve to sealing. Set the Instant Pot to manual high pressure for 15 minutes. After the timer goes off, Quick Release the pressure.

4. Add the cooked ground deer meat back to the pot and stir to combine. Taste and season with salt, if desired. Serve the chili with your favorite toppings.
