- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1 teaspoon turmeric
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- 1 teaspoon ground cardamom
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 pound beef stew meat, cut into 1 inch cubes
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 can (14.5 ounces) crushed tomatoes
- 1 can (14.5 ounces) diced tomatoes
- 1 cup carrots, diced
- 1 cup potatoes, diced
- 1/2 cup peas
- 1/2 cup coconut milk

Instructions
1. Set the Instant Pot to the sauté setting and add the olive oil. When the oil is hot, add the onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
2. Add the garlic, ginger, cumin, coriander, turmeric, garam masala, cardamom, and black pepper. Cook for 30 seconds, stirring constantly.
3. Add the beef cubes and cook for 2 minutes, stirring occasionally.
4. Pour in the beef broth and scrape the bottom of the pot to release any browned bits. Add the crushed tomatoes, diced tomatoes, carrots, potatoes, and peas. Stir to combine.
5. Put the lid on the Instant Pot and set the valve to sealing. Set the Instant Pot to high pressure and cook for 10 minutes.
6. When the cooking time is done, allow the pressure to release naturally for 10 minutes, and then quick release any remaining pressure.
