Instructions
1. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until it is crisp. Remove the bacon from the skillet and drain on paper towels. Reserve the bacon fat.
2. Add the onion to the bacon fat in the skillet and cook until softened, about 5 minutes. Transfer the cooked onion and bacon to a slow cooker.
3. Add the beans, ketchup, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, dry mustard, smoked paprika and black pepper to the slow cooker. Stir to combine.
4. Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 4-6 hours, or until the beans are soft. Stir occasionally during cooking.
